The Programs we support to end the generational poverty cycle
We truly believe that to be able to make a dent towards generational poverty the work needs to be locally led. Each of these programs we support are met and administered through The Vineyard Ministry of México in Mazatlán, México.
Each local initiatives is administered through our local partners in Mazatlán, Mexico.
CMMS General Fund
The General Fund fuels every part of our mission. Your giving allows us to partner with local agencies and ministry leaders on the ground to bring real, lasting change to communities facing generational poverty. Because of your support, we can respond quickly when urgent needs arise—whether that’s providing food, resources, or operational help to keep ministry work moving forward. Every dollar you give helps us act with faith, flexibility, and compassion where it’s needed most.
Compassion Iniatives
Vineyard Ministries Central Mexico volunteers and teams make and distributes fresh, filtered water and approximately 600 sandwiches weekly to the families and individuals who scrounge through the garbage at the Mazatlán city dump in an attempt to provide a living for their families. Every week volunteers from Vineyard Ministries Central Mexico prepare and distribute over 1000 meals to hungry children throughout the local Community Centres in order help meet their most basic nutritional needs.
Mazatlán School Water Project
We partner with Vineyard Ministries in Mazatlán to bring the gift of clean, safe water to children and families in need. Through the installation of water purification systems and bottle refill stations in one hundred of the city’s poorest schools, we’re helping to break cycles of sickness and poverty while demonstrating God’s love in a practical, life-giving way. Every clean drink of water becomes a reminder of His provision and care.
Una Gota en el Oceáno
Una Gota en el Oceáno (one drop in the ocean) is a care-aid facility in Mazatlán that exists to provide a home, help, and aid to seniors who would otherwise be homeless because they do not have family to take care of them. This gives them a space to be cared for and spend their remaining years in dignity.
With programs like these the lives of underprivileged children and families in Central México can be impacted forever.
